About our unique retreat
We are Elisabeth and Jakob
Hosts by passion, nature lovers, and advocates of calm. Before starting our family, we spent a lot of time travelling, discovering different places and gaining experiences in various countries. These impressions and new ideas still accompany us today. With Das Auss.Zeit, we have created our own place – driven by passion, with a lot of heart and the wish to make calm, space and time possible. Our family always comes first and shapes everything we do.

We offer a place of calm where our guests can arrive, switch off, and consciously leave everyday life behind. Surrounded by nature, there is space to breathe deeply, relax, and recharge.
Our journey over the years
Over the years, Das Auss.Zeit has evolved step by step. What began with renting individual apartments has grown with experience, guest feedback and a great deal of personal commitment. Every change came from the aim of offering our guests more space, more peace and more comfort.
As our experience increased, we optimised floor plans, intentionally simplified the furnishings and created additional options for families and groups. This is also how the idea emerged to connect individual apartments – to enable travelling together without giving up privacy.
Our journey is not a rapid rebuild, but an ongoing process. Guided by the belief that good accommodation needs time to mature – just like true relaxation.
Respectful use of resources
For us, treating our surroundings with respect is a given. We make a conscious effort to use resources responsibly, choose durable materials and develop our accommodation thoughtfully. Not everything has to be new, bigger or faster – what matters is that it makes sense and will last in the long term. This is how we preserve what defines our environment: peace, nature and a place where people can continue to feel at home in the future.
